Introducing Belcon’s premium
line of contact lenses. For those
with an eye for taste and quality.
Manufactured
using the highest technology in lathe manufacturing (precision cutting
technology for lenses), all Belcon Soft Lenses offer
first-rate quality and consistency in lens performance. Available in almost any
prescription and a variety of designs, Belcon soft
lenses come in three brands:
Belcon 38%
Dependable and trustworthy, this type of soft lens from Belcon
is impervious to changes in pH and temperatures, and not susceptible to
contractions. Its flexibility and strength make it suitable for daily wear and
pose no problems with frequent handling. These superior features give the
wearer a comfortable fit and optimum acuteness.
Belcon 60%
Designed for the more sensitive daily wearer, Belcon
60% is formulated with higher water content, for greater softness and comfort.
It also exhibits increased oxygen permeability which allows longer wearing time
not to mention guaranteed visual acuity without damaging the cornea.
Belcon 60% UV Lite
Belcon 60% UV Lite is the latest in soft lens material innovation. This
material has been developed to provide the ultimate on eye wearing experience. Utilising the
highest purity monomers, a careful blend results in a material that exhibits
exceptional on eye stability, water retention and durability.
Belcon Soft Toric Lenses
are made with utmost precision through computer-aided design, to custom-fit the
lenses to the unique corneal shape of an astigmatic patient.
Belcon has the ability to specialize the lenses into
specific toric molds in a wide range of parameters
catering to the specific needs of a person with astigmatism. This advancement
in lens design ensures stability in the eye and enhances the wearer’s visual
acuity.
Belcon Soft Toric Lenses
are available in three brands, Belcon Toric 38%, Belcon Toric 60% and Belcon Toric 60% UV Lite, extending the
superior features of the materials to astigmatic patients.
Hard and Gas
Permeable (GP) Contact Lenses
Belcon’s Hard and Gas Permeable Lenses are products of
years of innovation in lens material and design. In its commitment to
significantly enhance the wearer’s visual performance, Belcon
offers a superior line of hard and gas permeable lenses, all manufactured with
tri-curve design using materials and polymers approved by global standards.
Belcon Micro
Made with a popular rigid substance called Poymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA), Belcon’s Micro Lenses are stable and tough, giving the
lenses substantial durability for everyday wear. Exhibiting no affinity for eye
deposits, these lenses are biocompatible, and are not susceptible to allergic
responses.
Belcon G2 Gas Permeable (GP)
Belcon’s G2 GP Lenses are individually designed and created
for each patient’s specific eye measurements using gas permeable materials.
These specialized lenses allow more oxygen to reach the eye surface (cornea),
and have an increased wettability for a hard lens,
giving them much-needed elasticity. Due to the firmness of the lens materials, Belcon G2 GP Lenses provide a much crisper vision for the
patient, and extreme durability, possibly lasting years (unless there are
changes in prescription). Easy-to-fit and convenient, these lenses are more
deposit-resistant, and easier in upkeep, with simpler cleaning procedures.
Belcon G4 GP and G6 GP with
UV Protection
Belcon’s GP Lenses with UV Protection are
representative of the brand’s visionary efforts, reinforcing flagship lenses by
using second-generation gas permeable materials. The increased stability,
wet-ability, scratch-resistance, and oxygen reach, coupled with reduced lens
deposits, make the line incomparable in quality. Further made superior with a
UV absorber chemically bound within the lens, Belcon’s
G4 and G6 GP Lenses present wearers a freedom unseen before.
Offered
to patients with a particular type of eye condition, Belcon’s
Belcon Hard Bifocal
Belcon’s Hard Bifocal Lenses are prescribed to
patients with “presbyopia,” a loss of ability to
focus on near objects, commonly exhibited by mid-life age groups. Presbyopic patients experience eyestrain and lack of focus
when trying to read, and resort to wearing bifocal or “granny-style” reading
glasses. Such resolutions are unnecessary with Belcon’s
Hard Bifocal Lenses, an alternating vision bifocal lens that allows the patient
to enjoy crisp visual activity for both near and far distances.
Belcon Keratoconus
Keratoconus is an abnormal protrusion of the cornea,
or eye surface. Like looking through an uneven glass surface, patients with Keratoconus see irregular and distorted images. Staying
true to its vision of giving new life to eyesight, Belcon
formulated its own Keratoconus Lens, both in Micro
and GP. These highly specialized lenses even out the surface
over the cornea, neutralizing the distortion. Each Keratoconus
case is unique, and requires a custom-tailored lens design that fits the
patient’s specific needs. In its dedication to its customers, Belcon takes the time to listen, so that it can offer the
best lens that provides optimal visual acuity, comfort, and corneal health.
Belcon Toric
Periphery
This lens is designed for the astigmatic cornea of more than -2.00. It is aimed
to improved the physical fit of a lens ensuring
optimal visual acuity.
Belcon Prosthetic
Belcon Prosthetic contact lens is specifically
designed to alter the appearance of the eye such that a disfigurement is
covered by in order to restore the appearance of normality. They may be also
used to reduce the amount of light entering the eye.
Some of the indications for Belcon Prosthetic lenses are:
1. Covering opaque hyper mature cataracts.
2. Restoration of the iris and pupil to normal size, appearance and color e.g.
corneal opacity.
3. Covering iris holes such as in iris coloboma to
eliminate photophobia.
Belcon Prosthetic contact lenses are available
in various designs and specifications.
Belcon Aphakic
